Wow, I can't believe we are at the halfway point of #AMonthOfMAC already! I hope you're enjoying the series as much as I am! Now, Kinda Sexy is one of those lipsticks that really lives up to its name. When I wear it I do actually feel "kinda sexy" which believe me is something very rare! I'd say until I recently bought Brave, this was my all time favourite nude lipstick.
I bought Kinda Sexy around the time that the whole 90s lip trend started. Whilst the likes of Velvet Teddy looked a little too dark to work well with my skintone, I thought Kinda Sexy would be the perfect alternative. It's a light pink-ish brown nude, which I think is a good suit to my skin, It's not so pale that it looks concealer-like, but not so dark that I look super pale in comparison.
Kinda Sexy is a matte finish, but doesn't feel like your typical MAC matte lipstick. It's really creamy in texture, almost as if it were a satin finish instead, so it feels really nice on your lips. You do have to be careful of dry patches though. If you haven't exfoliated your lips properly, this lipstick will sit in any dry patch it can find!
